Travel itinerary
Day 1
Rest your head in a magnificent castle in Ayrshire, surrounded by seascapes at every turn, and boasting views across the Ayrshire coastline. Begin your Scottish gourmet adventure with a gastronomic feast including canapés and mouth-watering petit fours.
Day 2
After a night of fine dining in the Ayrshire countryside, board your private boat to explore the Hebridean Islands as your adventure continues. Your private chef will be on board and the professional crew will navigate you towards remote islands, coastal castles and distant inns. Enjoy lunch at one of the many famous seafood restaurants, before arriving at an island for your luxury three-day glamping experience.
Day 3
Every day offers something new: travelling between islands, you’ll be constantly on the lookout for sea creatures, however, you’ll also have the chance to go ashore to visit an ancient monastery. Your sea safari experience offers similar theatrics to the classical kind, but on this occasion, you’ll be surrounded by sea, islands, mountains, cliffs and wildlife both airborne and ocean-bound. And let’s not forget the majestic whales you’ll spy and the whisky you’ll sip along the way! In the evening, you’ll be greeted with a memorable dining experience prepared by the five-star hotel’s very own chef, before stargazing until you drift into a peaceful slumber.
Day 4
Breakfast will be well underway when you rise this morning, as the skipper prepares for the next leg of your seaward journey. With no time to lose, you’ll be cruising across to the Isle of Islay. With binoculars to hand, enjoy the sight of sea otters, grey seals, dolphins, oyster-catchers and barnacle geese. Golden eagles, fish eagles and buzzards can be spotted around the higher mountain islands for bird-watching enthusiasts. Visit one of the iconic distilleries and warm up with a wonderful lunch and glorious whisky tasting. Tonight you will return to the castle to dine like royalty.
Day 5
Wake up in your Scottish Baronial-style castle. With a rich history that dates back to 1870, the castle is the perfect place to enjoy a walk in the woodland parks before venturing home. Or, why not continue your Scottish gourmet adventure in the famous Highlands.Price includes
